Working at HF UK
The Best Of Both Worlds
Hachette Filipacchi (UK) Ltd is a subsidiary of Hachette Filipacchi Medias, the world's largest magazine publisher which is present in 39 countries and publishes 262 titles - selling over one billion copies.
In the UK we publish eight major titles - ELLE, ELLE Decoration, Red, Sugar, Psychologies, Real Homes, Inside Soap and All About Soap. Not bad going for a company only created in October 2002! HF UK grew out of the purchase of Attic Futura and the merging of that company with Hachette's UK titles, ELLE, ELLE Decoration and Red, which had previously been held as a UK-based joint venture with EMAP.
So, you can take advantage of the stability and prestige that come with working for a global player, whilst enjoying the dynamism and fresh approach of a brand new company that is developing its identity every day and is unencumbered by years of legacy and bureaucracy.
A Great Career
As a young company, growing and developing all the time, HF UK can offer career opportunities for those with ambition. Come and help us shape the company and grow your own career in the process! Whilst you are likely to work on one of our titles, you'll find that you can influence far more than that and that the opportunities to move internally are expanding all the time. And it goes without saying that we have some of the best editors and managers in the business, so you'll learn plenty from them too.
Personalised Benefits
When you work for HF UK you customise our benefits package to suit your needs. The range of benefits includes buying and selling holidays, participation in the group personal pension plan, life insurance, corporate discounts on a wide range of goods and services, free copies of all our magazines, referral scheme incentives and season ticket loans, to name but a few.
Family Friendly Options
We recognise the importance of work-life balance for all our employees, but particularly those with child-care commitments. We have generous maternity and paternity provision and support working parents through our child care vouchers scheme, as well as flexible working patterns where appropriate and parental leave.
Focus on Your Well-Being
HF UK has a genuine concern for the well-being of all employees. We offer access to discounted health care plans, and health club membership, all aimed at keeping you fit and well. And in the event that your health does falter, we have a generous long-term sickness insurance scheme so that there will be one less thing to worry about.
But don't just take our word for it: get in touch and find out for yourself what makes HF UK tick.
